Managing Director of AM Bid Services shortlisted for Emerging Director by the Institute of Directors

Andrew Morrison, Founder and Managing Director of AM Bid Services has been shortlisted for the ‘Emerging Director’ Award at the Institute of Directors, Scotland Director of the Year Awards to be held in March 2018.

The ‘Emerging Director’ Award is open to innovative leaders of new or established businesses who have operated at director level for less than five years. Andrew’s shortlisting recognises the growth he has spearheaded at AM Bid Services, which achieved 195% in year two, with a further 73% increase in year three. Andrew has also more than doubled headcount at the company, creating five new positions in the last year alone, including appointing David Sole OBE as Non-Executive Chairman.

Andrew is an innovative leader in the bidding industry, delivering remote working and cloud-based IT for his UK wide team, without a traditional office premises. He delivers pro-bono work to charities and third sector organisations, assisting them with bid strategy and funding applications. He has recently supported homelessness and mental health charities such as Social Bite, and Josh Quigley ‘The Tartan Explorer’.

In 2017 he also expanded the company to working in over 20 sectors. His team’s commitment to quality has resulted in an extremely high bid win rate, with over 20 satisfied client referrals to other businesses. AM Bid Services is also adding new services such as Bid Gap Analysis and Bid Scanning to strengthen their proposition further in 2018.
