AM Bid Services join SFHA as Commercial Associates

AM Bid Services, who are specialists in providing bidding expertise, are pleased to announce that they have joined the Scottish Federation of Housing Associations (SFHA) as Commercial Associate.

The company comes to the SFHA to build on its prevailing rich knowledge and experience of working within the housing sector, and view their involvement with the SFHA as a key element in their business development and growth strategy.

AM Bid Services offers Federation members extensive bidding experience in the area of housing, having proven success in producing winning bids for contracts in a variety of fields, including but not limited to:  professional services; development and construction; repairs and maintenance; energy efficiency; mechanical and engineering; care services and telecare.

The team at AM Bid Services is led by qualified housing professionals. Managing Director and FCIH, Andrew Morrison, previously worked within the Housing Departments at both the City of Edinburgh and West Lothian Councils and is a former Board Member at both Melville Housing Association and the Chartered Institute of Housing in Scotland.  Bid Development Director and CIHCM, David Gray, previously worked with Hanover Scotland, the Link Group and a private sector housing management company.

The experience gained by Andrew in his work with British Gas and by David through his work with EDF Energy, ensures that strong commercial awareness and expertise is at the forefront for AM Bid Services and will prove invaluable to the Federation’s membership.

Currently in their third year of trading, AM Bid Services has grown at an exponential rate, with turnover for 2015/16 exceeding £¼ million, up 195% on the previous year.
